Moving Intuitively
What are the obstacles to listening and following our intuition?
I. Obstacles
Lack of Knowledge - We may lack knowledge about our intuition. It resides alive within, and unnoticed.
Knowledge without Understanding - We may learn about intuition, even experience it, and be unclear about how to distinguish it from other kinds of knowledge or feelings.
Understanding without Practice - We may arrive at a clearer understanding of intuition, and be unsure how to practice listening and following it. We sense it, and are unsure what to do with it.
Practice without Consistency - We may practice listening and following our intuition, inconsistently. Depriving ourselves from maintaining an open channel to its wisdom.
II. Sources
Perhaps, these obstacles arise from:
The Absence of Teachers - Who teaches us how to listen and follow our intuition?
Satisfying Our Desires - Intuition offers what we need, rather than what we want. 1
Costs of Following Our Intuition - Our decisions will feel true for us, and unexplainable to others. 2
III. Beginning
Humbly, a path to begin listening and following your intuition:
Silence, Solitude, and Stillness - Intuition is a voice from within, from another source. Listening demands silence, patience. You will know it, when you hear it.
Discernment - When you hear it, specifically identify its sound, source, and sentiment. How is it different from your voice, knowledge, and other feelings? 3
Small Beginnings - When you identify your intuition, practice listening and following it by asking it for guidance with small decisions. What is revealed for you?
IV. Peace
Our intuition invites us to be our true self.
To become who we are meant to be by letting go desires, and deepening our faith.
When we consistently practice listening and following our intuition, it becomes effortless, revealing its Divine gifts for us.
When we move intuitively, we live truthfully and peacefully.
