Life’s Lesson

I.

It seems the lesson life teaches us, again and again, and we have yet to learn, is:

  • Love; and

  • Let go.

Even, simultaneously.

II.

Love: ourself, others, creation in its infinite forms, the visible and invisible.

Let go: fear, desire, possessions, attachments.

III.

As natural and necessary as breathing.

Bring in, let out.

Love, let go.

Again and again.

IV.

May life’s lesson be present at our genesis?

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
- Genesis 2:7

God held us,
Breathed into us,
Let us go
